"Arcanes majeurs is a sound and visual hybrid object with far-reaching ramifications. A dissociative episode constitutes the foundation of this project: then lost in the depths of a crack, neither quite here, nor quite there, Talita Otović went in search of a reality that had slipped away from her. This album is also the story of an encounter with the artist Paulo Cormault, whose poetic insights blend with Talita Otović's empathetic fiction, punctuating the pace, giving voice to the phenomena of derealization and depersonalization that they have both experienced. Eyes closed or open, we are taken to a place filled with sweaty fumes, where trance-like bodies shiver with mystical energy, the pulse of the sound, though turned off, still languidly slaloming through their veins. The party is over, yet souls wander here and there, as if defeated by time."
